Mahnum Shahzad

Mahnum Shahzad, PhD, is a Faculty Member in the Health Policy and Insurance Research Division at the Department of Population Medicine at the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. She received her PhD in Health Policy (Economics) from Harvard University. Her research interests are driven by the question of how regulatory and financial incentives change the type of evidence generated about the safety and efficacy of pharmaceuticals, and how that information is incorporated into real-world use of these products.
