C. Ross Hatton
Dr. Ross Hatton is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. He received his PhD in Health and Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and his MPA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
His research uses quasi-experimental and mixed methods to evaluate the design and implementation of federal social safety net programs. His current work focuses on participant understanding and experiences of these programs, the role of program design in influencing health outcomes broadly and diet and chronic disease specifically, and the political environment in which social safety net programs are enacted and administered.
