Brittany Ranchoff

Research Fellow

Brittany L. Ranchoff is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Division of Health Policy and Insurance Research (HPI) in the Department of Population Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute. Dr. Ranchoff is a maternal health services researcher with advanced epidemiological training dedicated to improving perinatal health outcomes and services and eliminating health disparities for birthing people. Dr. Ranchoff’s research broadly addresses access to and quality of perinatal care in the US. More specifically, she considers the three overarching themes of her research within accessibility and quality of care: (1) access to perinatal care; (2) decision-making; (3) health disparities and inequities. She received her PhD in Public Health with a specialization in Health Policy and Management and a minor in Epidemiology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Ranchoff also has a Master of Public Health focusing on Maternal and Child Health and Epidemiology from the Boston University. Dr. Ranchoff is working with Dr. Hao Yu in the Division of HPI.
