Project Summary
The Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD) is a vaccine safety surveillance system comprised of CDC’s Immunization Safety Office (ISO), integrated health care organizations, and networks across the United States. VSD serves as a valuable resource for monitoring and evaluating the safety of immunizations.
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute's role in the VSD initiative is to lead the use of tree-based data mining methods to evaluate the safety of vaccines in the VSD population, serve as a data-providing infrastructure site, and provide active scientific leadership and administrative support for vaccine safety and epidemiology studies.
