Project Summary

The main goal of the project is to develop methods that examine the role of sex in genetic association studies and apply these new methods to the important area of depression. The long-term goal is to improve understanding of the genetic basis of sex differences for depression to facilitate new biological understanding and personalized treatments that could improve population health.
