Dr. Hsu is a Harvard Pediatric Health Services Research Fellow and Hospitalist at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Hsu received her Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health and her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed her residency training in Pediatrics in the Boston Combined Residency Program at Boston Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center. Dr. Hsu's research interests are in quality measurement, resource allocation decision-making, and the development of systems-based interventions to promote health equity. She additionally has prior research experience in decision science and cost-effectiveness analysis. Dr. Hsu is currently working with her mentor, Dr. Grace Lee, to examine the impact of the CMS Hospital-Acquired Conditions and Value-Based Purchasing policies on safety-net hospitals as part of the Preventing Avoidable Infectious Complications by Adjusting Payment (PAICAP) study.
