Melanie Kornides, Sc.D., is a postdoctoral research fellow working with Melissa Gilkey in the Center for Child Health Care Studies. Her research focuses on improving HPV vaccination coverage among adolescents. She graduated from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with a Doctor of Science degree in epidemiology. Formerly a family nurse practitioner with a Master of Science degree from University of Michigan, she worked in primary care with children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Kornides’ research interests include pediatric health services, cancer prevention, and health promotion.
